Takeoff menu - Mockup

This is an idea I had for Takeoff menu. In my proposal you can add more plasmoids to the menu like folders, weather, etc. You can switch between the differents plasmoids with the icons that you can see at bottom on the mockup.

Apps: It works like the actual Takeoff Menu.
Folders: I added the folder view from Stack Folder plasmoid (Very usefull)
Weather: This can be optional, I used the view from yaWP plasmoid.

Takeoff menú - Maqueta

Esta es una idea que tuve para el menú Takeoff. En mi propuesta se pueden agregar plasmoides al menú como carpetas, clima, etc. Y se puede intercambiar entre estos plasmoides desde los iconos que se pueden ver en la parte inferior de las maquetas.

Aplicaciones: Funciona exactamente igual que el menú Takeoff actual.
Carpetas: Agregué la vista de carpeta del plasmoide Stack Folder (muy útil)
Clima: Esto es mas opcional, utilice el plasmoide yaWP.

Se puede descargar el archivo XCF.

Herramientas: Gimp

Takeoff es un plasmoide para KDE por lo tanto se puede instalar en cualquier distribución que utilice ese entorno de escritorio (como Kubuntu, Chakra, Open Suse, etc). No sirve en el Ubuntu clásico con Unity/Gtk.

Gratcie. El desarrollador de Takeoff me dijo que capas que implemente algo similar a esta idea así que con suerte algún día se pueda llegar a probar como funciona realmente.

Cool concept! I like the ability to add clock, weather data and other small apps.

Could I make a suggestion that may not be technically feasible, but, would be cool? You know the cube for multiple desktops? Why not have this applet in cube format that you can have multiple info display by simply rotating it. That would ROCK. Kind of like a cube within a cube.

Like I said, don't know if it's feasible, but, I thought I'd share the idea.
